Tramonto Bistro: Experience Authentic Italian Cuisine in Malibu

Great service, good food. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating The olive tapenade and bread is absolutely delicious. Good Caesar salad, not over dressed. The margherita pizza is good but prefer it without garlic. Papardelle bolognese is also nice. Enjoyed our meal with a nice bottle of Châteauneuf-Du-Pape.

This place checked all of the boxes for our family. The food was absolutely delicious, staff was friendly, and great environment. We initially started in their outdoor eating area but it was very loud because it is right next to the road, once we transitioned inside it was better. All in all would highly recommend this place!

Just by chance the family and I were looking for somewhere to have lunch along the Pacific highway. Well not know anything about this place we took a chance. I tell you we won the jackpot here as the food was amazing! We had shrimp and lobster, a margarita pizza and puree carrot soup. Food was top notch all around. We ate in the enclose patio. It wasnt busy at all. Talk about timing. It was just great experience being just a stone throw away from the Ocean. What a great lunch afternoon! Service was amazing too.

We came to Tramonto for my friend’s birthday and had an amazing experience! Wilfredo was very welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and tasted so fresh. He brought us a complimentary ice cream and wine to celebrate her birthday. We definitely recommend Tramonto if you are visiting the Malibu area!!!

Stopped by on a Monday for dinner with a coworker. We wanted a taste of Malibu and Tramonto did not disappoint. The food was delicious. I had the daily special ravioli with chicken and mushrooms in a delectable white sauce. It transported me to old world Italy. The food was only outdone by the service. Francisco was excellent, anticipating our needs before we asked. The owner stopped by and helped us choose a smooth California wine. Highly recommend next time you are in Malibu!

A lovely experience throughout. We came here to celebrate a special occasion while visiting Malibu. Everything met and/or exceeded our expectations. The food is great, the service is very friendly and the staff is very accommodating. We ordered different dishes on the menu AND off the menu and they happily obliged. We got a panino, a chicken Marsala dish, lasagna, calamari, and cacio e Pepe. Everything was amazing. For me the highlight of the meal was the fresh complimentary ciabatta bread that comes with a lovely olive tapenade. I could probably just eat that and be happy. Definitely will be back and will probably take a lot of bread home

I visited with my family just a few days before the wildfire, and I'm so glad it's safe for fire. I'll definitely visit again if I go to the U.S. It is my favorite restaurant in Malibu.

We were seated on the patio under a heater. It was such nice ambiance except for some loud vehicles going by at times. The servers all pitch in which I love when restaurants do that because the customer wins with great service and never waits for anything! The servers were all AMAZING! The arancini were ok, not the best I’ve had and very small with only one tiny chunk of cheese in the middle. The sauce with them was bland but not acidic which I appreciated. The chicken Parmesan was a large portion but the pasta was very Al dente to the point it was hard. The chicken was very tough. The chicken pizza was good. The olive spread that came with the bread was cold and we didn’t like it. The bread was fresh and fluffy.
